Events

We try to hold two members events a year – one a formal AGM with a social element attached to the formal business, and a party or gathering of some sort in the winter months. Our next event is our AGM to be held at the very nice upstairs room at the Portman pub on Upper Berkely Street. The formal business of the AGM will be followed by drinks and canapés.

In addition we occasionally organise far larger events for the area around us. In recent years we have organised a commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the attempt by the Cato Street Conspirators to overthrow the government, and two street parties : one to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and another to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. These have both been well attended and great fun.
